Introduction to “Cutting Edge” Pain Management Technology

Wednesday, July 30th, 2014

We will host your employees on-site at our Charlotte medical office.  A physician will speak on and demonstrate the state of the art equipment used to treat acute and chronic pain.  This equipment allows us to treat pain without the use of narcotics or invasive procedures.  Your employees are then able to work at peak performance without missing work to recover from a surgery.

A few examples include the Robotic Laser, Weightless Walking machine and MRS (monitored rehabilitation system).

REIKI CERTIFICATION LEVEL 1

Friday, May 2nd, 2014

The gentle Japanese energy practice of Reiki has seen a rapid growth in popularity lately, and it is no wonder why.

Usui Reiki can help you in many ways, from deepening your intuition and strengthening your mind/body connection to promoting physical and emotional healing. It is one of the most accessible ways to harness your natural ability to heal. The method is so simple a child can learn it, yet so profound it that you can continue to deepen your practice over the course of your lifetime.

In this class, we will discuss the practice’s origins, modern applications, energy basics, and best practices for treating yourself and others.

While no experience of any kind is needed to take the class, Danielle is able to grant 12 Continuing Education Hours (CEs) to massage therapists through NBCTMB/Nirvanaland Essentials, Provider Number 451899-12. Additional processing fee of $15 applies to all students receiving CE credits.

Danielle has found that her weekend workshops, while convenient to many, present scheduling conflicts for those who work outside of a 9-5 routine. Wellness workers, healthcare and law enforcement personnel, servers, parents and students have overwhelmingly flocked to her daytime offerings in the suburbs. She is abundantly thrilled to offer her first Daytime Reiki 1 Certification in Center City Philadelphia in almost three years! Weekdays don’t work for you? learn more about weekend offerings…

This class will take place in THREE Monday morning/midday sessions spanning four weeks in Center City’s Rittenhouse neighborhood.

May 12, May 19 and June 2. Each day from 9:30am-1:30pm.

**ATTENDANCE ALL THREE DAYS ARE REQUIRED FOR CERTIFICATION**

Classes will be held at the new host space:

Balance Health Center

112 South 20th St (20th St. btwn Chestnut and Walnut Sts)

Philadelphia, PA 19103

Tuition: $250. Additional fee of $15 for CE credits (scroll down for ticket information)

Parking in this neighborhood can be challenging so Mass transit is recommended. Several buses as well as the Market Frankford Line and West Philadelphia Trolleys serve the studio. Walking distance to Suburban Rail Station, connecting service to PATCO and NJ Transit buses. Call Danielle at 267-571-WELL for assistance navigating.

A breif lunch break will be held. Local eatieries are abundant, and you are welcomed to bring a bag lunch.

Ticket Information: This course costs $250, an additional $15 fee applies to anyone requiring CE credits. $100.00 deposit holds your place, and becomes non-refundable one week before event date. Remainder of tuition is due on or before the first day of class. All checks must be made out to Danielle Stimpson. For your convenience you can also choose to pay in full on this website.

Danielle has several years experience teaching Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy and intuitive development. For more information about Danielle or other courses with her, visit her website

Raising Awareness on Chronic Fatigue and Nutrition

Thursday, March 13th, 2014

If you are experiencing four or more of the following symptoms for more than 6 months, you may be suffering from CFS:
◆ Impaired memory or concentration
◆ Postexertional malaise (extreme, prolonged exhaustion following physical or mental activity)
◆ Unrefreshing sleep
◆ Muscle pain
◆ Multijoint pain
◆ Headaches of a new type
◆ Sore throat
◆ Tender lymph nodes

Often, CFS and nutrition go hand in hand. Nutrition is a critical part of health and development, yet it is something so few of us are knowledgeable about. MDs study so much of drugs and surgery, and so little of topics like nutrition. Educating ourselves on eating right will help us feel better, have more energy and boost our immune system.

If you or someone you know could benefit from learning more about fatigue or improving nutrition, then please join us at Kernersville Public Library in the Lower Level Conference Room for some healthy snacks and some great informational conversation!

Learn to Understand How the Body Uses Antioxidants to Boost Energy and the Immune System

Greentea antioxidants have over 400 years of data touting their health benefits.  Antioxidants are naturally contained in most fruits, vegetables and teas.  Learn about how greentea and Noni antioxidants boost metabolism and the immune system. Also learn about the benefits of coconut.

Many health benefits are proven as a result of high antioxidant diets, especially reducing weight and many parameters that lead to common diseases of today such as diabetes, heart disease due to high cholesterol and blood pressure and inflammatory diseases.

We facilitate an interactive discussion while we sample the products. Please find our event and class schedule on our 2cups Green Tea Hawaii facebook page.  Contact Angie at 919 656-0963 or angceroli@gmail.com to schedule your workshop TODAY!

Office Emergency Preparedness (OSHA Safety Meeting)

Office Survival: Do you have what it takes?

The average American adult spends over 30% of his or her time at work. Whether you are a full-time hero or a part-time student, emergencies have a good chance of striking while you are away from your primary emergency supply.

THRIVE Life will come do a presentation on building individual office emergency kits.

This class has the option of being a hands-on class for a per person fee. I will provide all the items necessary for each person to build a kit. The company can pay this fee or each person can pay the fee. Depending on how far in advance this class is booked, I may have a few kits available for sale.
