The Ivey Memory Wellness Day Center

For those caring for a loved one with mild-to-moderate memory loss, The Ivey is the “best of both worlds” solution, allowing the caregiver much-needed reprieve from daily caregiving duties to continue employment responsibilities or refresh and recharge during the day and enjoy their loved one at home each night. Finding time for self-care sustains caregiver health, well-being and capacity to care for the long term. The Ivey offers an outstanding caregiver support program to help the caregiver sustain their health, well-being and capacity to care for the long-term.

Conveniently located in the South Park area, The Ivey is Charlotte’s only memory wellness day center. Serving area families since 2008, members receive outstanding daytime care in a beautiful lodge-style setting.

The Ivey is committed to supporting the entire family of individuals living with mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s disease and other causes of dementia. By preserving memories, promoting independence, and improving quality of life, The Ivey is a “whole family solution,” supporting the entire family through every step of the dementia caregiving journey.

The Ivey’s goal is to keep the mind engaged through evidence-based programs specifically designed for brain health preservation and maintenance.

• Care coordination, planning and management provided by Certified Care Managers
• Comprehensive care plan meeting semi-annually and as needed
