Incorporated in 1987, RHA Health Services, Inc. (RHA) provides behavioral health services across North Carolina. In addition to behavioral health services, RHA is comprised of cross-disability divisions specializing in outpatient, community based, crisis, residential, prevention and specialized services for individuals with mental health, substance use and/or intellectual/developmental disability needs. With headquarters in Asheville, NC and services in several other states, RHA’s 5,500 employees serve over 25,000 individuals annually. RHA has become one of the largest providers in North Carolina by consistently demonstrating expertise in clinical, operational, and administrative aspects of service provision.

RHA accomplishes success as a state-wide provider in North Carolina by developing strong community partnerships and adapting to the ever-changing needs of each community. RHA has provided behavioral health services since 2006. RHA is a local leader, with strong partnerships and working relationships across stakeholder groups, to include MCO’s, Department of Health and Human Services, County Governments, Hospitals, local law enforcement agencies, and many others.

RHA has extensive experience and currently operates almost 300 licensed facilities. RHA is currently providing SAIOP in the following Counties: Alamance, Buncombe, Cabarrus, Caldwell, Carteret, Columbus, Halifax, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, New Hanover, Robeson, and Yancey. There are two licensed SACOT programs Robeson, Columbus and three detox facilities: Buncombe, Caldwell, and New Hanover Counties. The Hilltop program, RHA’s Comprehensive Substance Use Treatment Program, is SAIOP, SACOT, and Medication Assisted Treatment. This program is offered in 7 Counties: Alamance, Columbus, New Hanover, Halifax, Robeson, Bladen and Guilford County.
