Pueblo County Public Works/CPR

Public Works / Road & Bridge is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the County’s transportation infrastructure to federal, state and local laws and in keeping with the community’s priorities and needs. Services include road grading, patching, reconstruction, drainage ditch cleaning, weed mowing and management, snow plowing.

Public Works / Road & Bridge is dedicated to maintaining safe working conditions by providing safety trainings throughout the year. These include CPR Certifications; Mining Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) training; and Flagging Certification, as well as regular staff safety meetings. In addition, staff is trained on all equipment before they can commence work on their own. Pueblo County abides by all MSHA and OSHA regulations. Staff is provided safety goggles, safety vests, ear plugs, dust masks, and hard hats to ensure all MSHA and OSHA safety requirements are met.
