That’s why we partner with your human resources department to offer the benefits you deserve as a valued employee. From the very start, we work closely with your employer to create the best possible plan. Our benefits app and website make processing claims and checking balances quick and easy — but should you ever need us, we’re here to help. Keep in mind that sometimes we have to require certain documentation or confirm a few details of your plan with you; that’s part of our commitment to doing things well and doing things right, ensuring that both you and your organization have what you need.

We offer Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) to help you save money on your eligible unreimbursed health and childcare expenses. These benefits are reimbursement accounts that allow you to pay for certain eligible expenses with tax-free dollars. Through pre-tax salary reduction and reimbursement, you convert taxable income into nontaxable benefits. The result is reduced tax withholdings and more take-home pay — and who doesn’t want that, right?

– A Dependent Care FSA can be used to pay for eligible dependent care expenses (daycare, childcare) so you and your spouse can work, look for work, or attend school full-time.

– A Medical/Dental/Vision FSA (Health FSA) can be used to pay for eligible unreimbursed medical expenses (not covered or paid by any insurance) incurred by you, your spouse, and your dependents. You can find examples of eligible expenses on our website. If you have an HSA, you can’t also have a full Health FSA, but you can sign up for a Limited Dental/Vision FSA which can be used to pay for eligible dental and vision expenses.

– A Health Savings Account (HSA) also allows you to save money for healthcare expenses, with these added benefits:

  • Owned by the individual
  • Portable, remaining with an employee regardless of employment
  • Roll over from year to year and earn interest free from Federal and FICA tax
  • Can be invested, supplementing your retirement income

These plans also come with quick and convenient account access on our web portal and mobile app, and a debit card you can use to pay for expenses directly from your account.

If you participated last plan year, you’ll use the same debit card you used last year. If you are a new participant, you’ll receive a new debit card when you enroll in an FSA or HSA for the new plan year. We have a handy flyer with a picture of the card and helpful tips on using your debit card.
