Healing Touch is an energy-therapy modality used to restore harmony and balance to the body’s energy field and facilitate a natural healing response. Healing Touch promotes deep relaxation, assists with stress management, and promotes the healing of wounds and fractures. It may assist with the management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, arthritis, autoimmune disorders, neurological disorders, and pre and post-surgical support. Healing Touch often serves as a compliment to psychotherapy. It can facilitate emotional processing of traumatic experience, grief, assist with mood regulation, improve sleep, and decrease anxiety.
