Coastal Wellness Coaching

Kelly Forness, owner of Coastal Wellness Coaching, is a Holistic Nutritionist and Health Coach. She works with clients to help them reach their health goals. She specializes in helping clients with digestive problems, food intolerances and weight loss. She offers seasonal whole foods detoxes, clean eating programs, one on one health coaching, pantry makeovers, and introduces clients to natural solutions such as essential oils.

Kelly has been interested in nutrition and health for as long as she can remember, and it is something that she is very passionate about, and something that she enjoys educating others on. She obtained her Associate’s degree in Dietetics, and became a Dietetic Technician, Registered, but after working in skilled nursing facilities for many years, and seeing so many people come in with chronic illnesses at a young age, Kelly decided that she wanted to work with people to help prevent these illnesses by teaching them how to take care of themselves and follow a proper diet.

Kelly went back to school at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Kelly practices a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that she looks at how all areas of her clients lives are connected. Her approach is not to dwell on calories, carbs, fats, and proteins. It is not to create lists of restrictions or good and bad foods. She helps her clients develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for them and implement lasting changes that will improve their energy, balance and health.
