Hearing loss is the second most common chronic illness on adults, but it is often hidden, unrecognized, and left untreated.
Hearing loss is associated with memory loss, reduced mobility, and reduced earnings and work force participation. Fortunately, there are many ways to protect against hearing loss, and address early hearing loss to reduce these impacts.
At our talk we will discuss the nature of different types of hearing loss, hearing protection, communication strategies, and various hearing solutions.
Our seminar will be presented by an independent Doctor of Audiology.
