Zen Wellness- Chiropractor

Dr. Dawn Runge holds a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri. This is just outside Dr. Dawn’s hometown of St. Louis, Missouri.
 

Before Chiropractic school, she worked in experiential and public relations. After entering a fitness competition and feeling her vitality grow with exercise and healthy food, she sought out a field where she could help people in pain before the need for surgery and help reduce reliance on pain medications. Chiropractic was a great fit.
 

After finishing her degrees, Dr. Dawn spent two years in the Sub-Saharan African country of Namibia, creating a satellite practice from scratch alongside her mentor in that country, Dr. Elga Drews. Dr. Dawn was able to see many interesting cases and work alongside many healthcare professionals in a multi-disciplinary healthcare center in northeast Namibia.
 

Dr. Dawn recently returned to the U.S. and decided that Los Angeles would be a great fit for some of her passions, such as hiking and intercultural experiences. Dr. Dawn also writes for an electronic music website, loves dancing, and is an avid traveler (currently at 20 countries and counting). Dr. Dawn has Celiac disease, and also loves trying new recipes to adapt favorite dishes and trying new gluten-free restaurants. She is a licensed nutritionist and also provides nutritional guidance to her patients.
