Since its beginning in 1971, Chapel Hill Obstetrics and Gynecology has been serving patients who represent a wide radius of North Carolina, including Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh, Hillsborough, Mebane, Saxapahaw as well as southern Virginia. With our new midwifery services offering, we hope to provide even more options for quality healthcare. We are constantly refining and expanding our services to meet the needs of our diverse patient base.

Because we are well grounded in the community, we have several generations of patients. Our size allows us to offer creature comforts you will not find at the large academic practices and our staff remember not only our patients’ names, but their individual situations, conditions, who referred them and who their family members are. All these things add up to a great community practice.

We offer many in-office procedures including Endometrial Ablation and Tubal Sterilization (ESSURE).

Midwifery

Our mission is to provide the most comprehensive midwifery care in the Triangle Area for expectant mothers and women planning on pregnancy. Midwifery at Women’s Health Alliance offices are conveniently located in Chapel Hill, Durham and the Brier Creek area of Raleigh.   Our certified nurse-midwives are health care professionals who have your well being and the health of your baby as their first priority.   Whether this is your first pregnancy or fifth, there will be a number of decisions to make along the way to your birth day. We will help you sort out your options and explore solutions to those aspects of your pregnancy and birth that are unique to you. Our team is flexible and prepared to support and honor the choices you make.    With our midwifery practice, medications are optional and available as needed, but they certainly are not required.    The Midwives at WHA help you design the birth that best fits your needs and requirements.
