Photoaging (Skin Damage)

Your skin is your body’s largest organ, so treat it right! Photoaging (skin damage such as wrinkles, brown spots, and lax skin caused by sun exposure) can be prevented – and minimized with proper sun protection (such as sunscreen and protective clothing) and various anti-aging treatments. We’ve got lots of tips to keep your skin looking its best, and staying its healthiest, while you’re here ask us about our sunscreens, skin care products and cosmetic procedures.

Cosmetic Procedures

Your dermatologist should be your first stop when considering injectable and laser cosmetic procedures. Not only can they examine you to make sure there isn’t a more serious problem, your dermatologist is a skin specialist and knows how these products function and effect the largest organ in the body-your skin!

VersaPulse® laser:

  • Facial Telangiectasia (broken capillaries)
  • Rosacea management (a skin disease where redness and flushing of the face occurs)
  • Cherry & Spider Hemangiomas (red moles)
  • Solar Lentigines (benign brown spots, freckles)
  • Melasma
  • Unwanted Tattoos

Botulinum Toxin (Botox and Dysport):

Botulinum toxin has been used to correct many medical conditions & has been used for cosmetic indications for more than 10 years. It is regarded as both safe & very effective. Botox and Dysport are brand names of BTX.

Minute amounts of BTX are injected into muscles to weaken the muscles in order to prevent or minimize wrinkling, Crow’s feet, & expression lines.

Fillers (Belotero, Restylane, Perlane & Radiesse):

Facial Fillers are cosmetic products that are used to improve facial appearance from changes of the skin created by volume loss, gravity, and wrinkling.  Fillers can be used to enhance specific areas of the face such as the lips or cheeks, to reduce both fine & deep wrinkles & to correct facial asymmetry.
