Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic

Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic is Wake County’s oldest orthopaedic practice. Our roots in providing orthopaedic medicine to central and eastern North Carolina can be traced back to 1919, when our original founders, Dr. Hugh Thompson, Dr. Walter Hunt, and Dr. Thomas Dameron opened Wake County’s first general surgery practice with a focus in Orthopaedics, and in 1959, these three surgeons named the practice Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic (ROC).

Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic provides a full range of orthopaedic and pain management services, specializing in conservative and surgical management to treat a wide variety of conditions involving the musculoskeletal system, including bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves and the skin.
