I become a doula because I believe doulas will change the world. Families who have a doula are less likely to need medical interventions during birth and have an overall positive birth experience. In addition, the presence of a postpartum doula has been found to reduce postpartum mood disorders for birthing parents, and they have increased breastfeeding rates.

I will support you while you find peace and calm during labor. I will provide extensive evidence-based information about birth and life with your new baby. I will be a listening ear and an advocate for you and your family.
