About

TULA Yoga Studio is a community-based studio in Chicago’s Logan Square offering accessible Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, and specialty yoga classes for all levels. Beyond group classes, founder Maile Wicklander brings over 14 years of experience as a teacher, studio owner, and mindfulness facilitator. She is an E-RYT 500 yoga teacher, an MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) teacher trained through Brown University, and a yoga therapist-in-training (IAYT, graduation April 2026).

Maile specializes in yoga therapy, mindfulness meditation, and stress reduction, supporting individuals and groups in cultivating resilience, managing chronic pain, and finding balance in body and mind. Her approach integrates evidence-based mindfulness practices, somatic movement, and restorative techniques to create safe, effective, and transformative wellness experiences.

Whether through a group yoga class, a guided mindfulness session, or an 8-week MBSR program, TULA provides tools for sustainable well-being that meet people where they are and empower them toward greater health, clarity, and ease.
