Everyone at one time or another runs into issues and obstacles that can appear overwhelming. Often what is needed is a fresh set of ears from someone genuinely concerned, who has the training and experience to help you find a resolution. I assist individuals, couples, and families in developing the tools needed to enhance, improve and empower using empirically proven approaches and intervention techniques. My treatment experience has involved dual diagnosed and personality disorders in children and adults.  I am particular proficient with relationships that are challenged by unresolved issues, or trauma experienced by one or more of the members.
 
As a retired Marine I have a passion for veterans.  As a minister I have a passion for families and marriages. My aviation background also helps me understand the special pressures and challenges of that profession. I have been serving people one way or another my whole life.
 
Marriage and Family Therapists are licensed, fully trained, mental health professionals who walk with you step by step past your obstacles and towards your goals. MFTs approach situations from a systemic perspective, taking the focus and pressure off the individual(s) and forming an alliance with them against the problem.
