  • Group coaching by theme:
  • Group coaching is a fun and effective way for you to expand and grow your practice and reach more people. Group sessions provide the opportunity for participants to learn from you as well as other group members. In fact, one of the biggest benefit of working in a group setting is the connection and community you will create.

  • Lifestyle medicine consultation:
  • Lifestyle medicine is a new discipline which has recently emerged as a systematized approach for management of chronic disease. The practice of lifestyle medicine requires skills and competency in addressing multiple health risk behaviors and improving health management. Yet providers are faced with expensive or invasive testing and are challenged to spend the time on personalized care. P.W.A. uses the power of stablished research and technologies to offer your patients a standardized and simplified lifestyle medicine consultations offering at the same time a simplified lifestyle evaluation, enhanced patient education and automated tracking of your patients’ lifestyle health. Evaluating lifestyle behavior sets the stage for providing a personalized care. This evaluation conjugates quickness and non-costly invasive procedures. It is designed to fit into any practice workflow and it is capable of engaging patients beyond a routine office visit. In the lifestyle consultations that we provide to your patients we offer a comprehensive lifestyle prescription, a lifestyle checklist based on your patient specific results and designed to reduce the risk of developing a chronic disease. Furthermore, we offer nutritional intake analysis with a full breakdown of your patient’s nutrition deficiencies or over indulgences with education related towards the benefits or risks that are associated with each.

     

    2-YOGA VINYASA, YOGA NIDRA, & FITNESS COACH:

    Yoga and fitness promotes physical health in multiple different ways. Some of them derive from better stress management. Others come more directly from the physical movements and postures in yoga, which help promote flexibility and reduce joint pain. Stress is the biggest problem of modern life. We carry tensions both within the physical body and on even deeper levels in the subtle bodies which we are not even aware of. While physical tension can be eased by stretching, exercise or massage, subtle tensions are difficult to recognize and even harder to release.

    Yoga Nidra is an ancient sleep based meditation using breath, visualization and physical techniques. Yoga Nidra is a unique method that goes below surface tensions to release and transform stress at its deepest level. Guided Yoga Nidra is an effortless practice and suitable for anyone who wishes to experience deep rest and relaxation. Yoga Nidra provides relief from many conditions such as sleep disorders, stress, anxiety, pain, and self-defeating patterns of behavior. Following Yoga Nidra, practitioners find overall mood is improved; there is a sense of calmness, along with increased mental clarity and creativity.

    This classes have a coaching oriented style to create a habit in the person’s daily life, and promote physical activity and better coping with the stressors in their life.

    3-LIZ KITCHEN PROGRAMS:

    This “hands on” educational programs are oriented to support healthier nutritional habit, but at the same time to promote family wellness and a new relation between people and food. Beneficial association are suggested between home cooking and consumption of healthy food choices. However, the consumption or pre-prepared foods in the USA is expanding, and a survey from 2007-2008 found a decrease “in home” food preparation. Barriers include: limited time, skills, and cooking confidence. The culinary coaching approach was developed as a form of health coaching to help participants improve nutrition, trough combined culinary training and coaching, as a two-pronged approach. We define culinary coaching as a behavioral intervention that aims to improve nutrition and overall health by facilitating home cooking through an active learning process for participants that combine culinary training with health and wellness coaching competencies.

  • CULINARY MEDICINE COACHING: This is a hand on educational program with tips on how to organize a healthy pantry, tips on time management, kitchen organization, how to cook “fast and fun healthy meal for your family”, and the importance of the “kitchen” in our family’s health and wellness.
