Neurofeedback is a safe non-invasive method of learning to change one’s brain waves.  Neurofeedback, also known as EEG (Electroencephalograph) biofeedback, or brain wave training, is done with the assistance of cutting edge computerized technology.  In essence, it is a way to both change the brain towards better functioning and an effective method of exercising the brain.

Neurofeedback is a technique that monitors direct training of brain function, by which the brain learns to function more efficiently.  We observe the brain in action from moment to moment. We then show that information back to the person and we reward the brain for changing its own activity to more appropriate patterns.

Neurofeedback is a specific form of biofeedback directed toward the renormalization of the brain and central nervous system.  Neurofeedback is training of the brain waves, a tool for the brain to directly learn flexibility, mental control and increased stability.  Results are often long-lasting, permanent, and typically continue to advance following training.
