Mid-South Transplant Foundation

Mid-South Transplant Foundation (MSTF) has been connecting lives through organ donation since 1976. As the federally designated, not-for-profit organ procurement organization (OPO) for counties in western Tennessee, northern Mississippi and eastern Arkansas, MSTF provides services including organ procurement, tissue recovery, laboratory testing, 24-hour rapid response to referrals from our hospital partners and an array of community education promoting the importance of donation. In our interaction with ODFL, we would provide information and education about organ and tissue donation and offer employees an opportunity to register their wish to be an organ and tissue donor. Donation truly saves lives. We work to combat lack of awareness and misinformation about donation in the communities we serve. More than 100,000 people in the U.S. are waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant. About 4,000 of those individuals are in the Mid-South. More information is available at www.MidSouthTransplant.org.
