Mandel JDS

We are sixth-grade students from Mandel JDS in Beachwood, Ohio, and are passionate about water. Throughout the year we have been studying water through the lens of our different subject areas and striving to answer the essential question: How does access to safe drinking water affect one’s future?

Through our study of water, the Mandel JDS 6th grade connected with Jen Levy from Beverly Hills Community Farm to learn more about hydroponic farming and its eco-friendly benefits in comparison to traditional farming with the goal of reducing our water footprint.
