High Point Clinical Trials Center

In addition to our cutting edge of medical research to improve the lives of people through new pharmaceuticals, we also pride ourselves on our commitment our community and the health of our community. We do this through various roles and activities.

Health Fairs:

We participate both community and employer health fairs in the region offering blood pressure screening and/or diabetes screenings (A1c). We also share information on clinical trials we conduct and they have the opportunity to participate in to help people address chronic health issues they may face.

Community Clinic:

Physicians and staff members of High Point Clinical Trials volunteer at the area’s free clinic, Community Clinic of High Point. The clinic provides acute care and chronic disease management for people in the area who are uninsured, underinsured and do not qualify for Medicare and Medicaid. In addition to the care, we donate medical supplies to supplement the clinic’s supplies.

Speakers Bureau:

We provide speakers to area groups and organization. We help them understand how clinical trials ensure pharmaceutical safety and effectiveness. We also help them understand how they can participate in appropriate clinical trials.
