Greater Freeport Partnership

The Partnership serves in the capacity of economic development, business service and tourism for Freeport and Stephenson County. Our role, simply, is to bring partners and individuals together to promote and grow our region.

We help attract and retain businesses in Stephenson County by providing resources in development, workforce and collaboration. The Partnership also works to improve aspects of the quality of life in the region by organizing community events, creating engaging streetscapes and honing the creativity and positive experiences we offer. The Partnership currently plans Music on Chicago, Cruise Night, Pretzel City Winefest, Pretzel City Brewfest, and several other events for residents and visitors to the area. 

And don’t forget about upcoming shopping opportunities during Misteltoe Walk November 20-21 in Downtown Freeport and the Holiday Gift Show beginning on November 19 at the Stephenson County Visitor Center! Holiday shopping is always more enjoyable when you are supporting local!
