I’m Dr. Zelina Medina, a Doctor of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and a trauma and autoimmune health expert. My work focuses on the connection between the nervous system, trauma, inflammation, hormones, and chronic health conditions.

My passion for this work began through my own experience with Lupus and a serious health crisis that ultimately led me to discover acupuncture, nutrition, meditation, movement, and other holistic approaches. My health was restored, and that experience changed the course of my life.

Today, I help people struggling with autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, chronic stress, trauma, hormonal imbalances, sleep difficulties, pain, and nervous-system dysregulation. My approach looks beyond symptoms to understand the whole person.

My work integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine, Biomedicine, Neuroscience, Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Indigenous teachings, ancient wisdom, and more to help you heal at the root.

Dr. Medina holds a Master’s of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Southern California University of Health Sciences and a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College. She is licensed by the California Acupuncture Board.
