J. Alan Houfek, D.C. is a chiropractor at Chiropractic Partners Midtown – Raleigh, NC. He first experienced the benefits of chiropractic at age 12. While riding the bus to school one day, the bus hit a bump that jarred Dr. Houfek’s neck leaving it stuck to the side with severe pain. He distinctly remembers walking into the chiropractors’ office with severe neck pain and walking out relieved and able to move his head.

That experience, later lead him to attend Chiropractic school at Palmer West College of Chiropractic. “There is nothing I would rather be doing as a profession.” He believes chiropractic is the best natural, non-invasive approach to achieving optimal health.

Dr. Houfek chose with his wife to relocate back to Raleigh, feeling it was the best place to educate and raise their family. He looks forward to enhancing the lives of individuals in the community by providing one of a kind family chiropractic care to the Triangle area.

Dr. Houfek has been treating families through chiropractic since 2003. His career began in and remained in Arizona, prior to moving his family to Raleigh. Dr. Houfek helped to run a thriving integrated practice in Fountain Hills, Arizona. There he combined chiropractic care with natural medicine to provide optimal relief for his patients. He believes all ages can benefit from chiropractic care and at the very least, that everyone deserves a spinal check-up.
