Who we are..

Tinderbox Fitness For Women is formerly known as “Women’s Wellness” – We are locally owned and operated, for Women by Women. We are a full-service women only heath and fitness club. We primarily focus on providing group fitness classes, personal training services, cardio-strengthening equipment and more. We thrive on providing women in the community with a non-intimidating atmosphere and a well-trained staff to provide you with the best fitness experience possible. We have something for Every BODY and every fitness level – from beginners to athletes! You can keep it as simple as light cardio, yoga, self workouts or take it up with a high intensity class or use of equipment.

Why are we called Tinderbox?

Tinderbox Fitness For Women is formerly known as “Women’s Wellness” and changed with prior ownership, however new owner in April 2020 decided to keep the name. WHY? Rather than create more confusion during ownership change and the pandemic confusion, we decided to emphasis on the meaning – a Tinderbox contains items to start a fire, which leads us to our mission and core values that describe our goal.

The Tinderbox Story

Tinderbox officially closed its doors in March 2020. April 2020 Tinderbox underwent new ownership. During the pandemic since April 2020 our mission has been “Saving Tinderbox”. We would like to share our gratitude to our members, community, instructors, staff and media for their support in our efforts.
