P/Kaufmann Thriving for Employee Wellness

P/Kaufmann is looking to partner with providers in Fort Mill and surrounding areas so they may give their 100 employees access to education and on-going services which promote a healthier, more productive lifestyle.  

Employees are urged to establish new healthy relationships through these partnerships at their upcoming health fair. This will be a great opportunity to directly connect your services with those who are given incentives from their leaders to become healthier.

Food is provided to the employees and the event is coordinated with employee biometric screenings to ensure optimum attendance, making this a win-win for everyone.

All participating partners will receive company name in all event announcements and promotional materials, a table to display at the event, and if needed, linen and access to electricity.

Just after World War II, Peter Kaufmann came to the United States and started to learn a new business – manufacturing and selling fabrics for home furnishings.  In 1957, he decided there was a better way to run a company so he left his job to start his own business, P/Kaufmann Inc. and P/Kaufmann Fabrics. In its early years, his company primarily was in the fiber business.  When P/Kaufmann inherited a large quantity of printed linens as part of an assumed debt, they suddenly were in the decorative fabrics business.

The company’s reputation and the integrity of Peter Kaufmann helped attract talented designers who helped make P/Kaufmann a leader in its industry.  Today, P/Kaufmann remains a well respected leader in the wholesale textile industry.  Its business includes successful divisions including Clarence House, Folia, Braemore, P/K Lifestyles, PK Contract, Printers Alley, and Jeffrey Fabrics.

P/Kaufmann’s corporate offices and showrooms are located in midtown Manhattan NYC.  P/Kaufmann also has a warehouse in Fort Mill, SC, and Printers Alley locations in NC.

    By paying the smaller non-refundable registration fee, you are paying to register for the event. Your registration will be sent to the employer. Should you be approved, you pay nothing further. If the employer declines your registration, you will not receive a refund.

    FREE for Health Fair Members

    Can’t attend the event but would like to mail in goodies? You can submit a registration to mail-in items (raffle prize, goodies/samples) for the employer to distribute at the event for you. If approved, non-members are charged a $5.00 fee and receive an email with the event contact name and mailing address. The messaging link is also activated so you may communicate directly with the employer.

    Coupon Codes: If you have been provided a coupon code to register for an event, you will need to fill in registration details, then proceed to the billing section. Put the coupon code on the box above the credit card information and submit your registration.

    By Submitting Your Registration You Understand

    Your registration for this event will be submitted directly to the employer for review. The employer will receive an email which includes your registration details and a link to your profile. Make sure you have fully updated your profile before registering.

    You will be notified of the employer’s decision via email. You may also review the status of a registration in the edit view of your profile within the Event Registrations tab.

    All Employers are asked to provide each approved vendor the following:

    • Profile link distributed to each employee via the event announcement
    • Face-to-face interaction with the employees
    • Table and chairs (see table size above)
    • Linen, electricity, and extra floor space (if needed)

    We can not guarantee the employer will provide all items above nor the anticipated attendance be accurate. We do ask that if you are not provided this after attending the event, take a moment to fill out the event survey to let us know.
