Goldsboro Milling 2019 Family Day

This is a large employee family day festival with games, vendors, food and a new wellness park dedication.   The last event brought in about 500 people and we’re excited to include our health fair as part of the festivities!  If you provide wellness or a service you feel would be of benefit to the health and wellbeing of our team, we invite you to submit your request to participate!

About Goldsboro Milling

Goldsboro Milling was founded in 1916 originally for the Feed Milling business. In the late 1950’s it expanded its operations into the turkey industry, growing and producing turkeys and eggs ultimately completing the first hatchery by 1967. In the late 1980’s the company diversified operations in the Swine industry and with this growth by September of 1988 a second Feed Mill began production to meet new company feed demand. In the fall of 1991 the company was presented with an opportunity in the local grain, buying and storage market, securing this acquisition with the purchase of Goldsboro Milling Grain. In 2005 the company further diversified its farming operations and ventured into the Blueberry Farming business. 2006 was a year of further growth with the opportunity to extend the company’s reach by entering a new market with operations in Indiana. In concert with the company swine operations, the company manages a 1100 brood cow herd, producing 1000 calves annually.

Today the family is one of the principal owners of Butterball LLC., the largest turkey producer in the United States and is the 10th largest swine producer in the United State as well as actively investing in land and timber amongst other business ventures. At Goldsboro Milling Company and Affiliates, animal welfare is of primary importance. Service personnel, technical experts and staff are trained and certified regularly and by adhering to these guidelines the company is able to produce a product that consumers feel confident will be safe and nutritionally superior. We are proud and stand behind our product and services!

    On-Site Event Fee $100.00 (calculated at less than .75 cents per anticipated attendee)
    The Event Fee will only be charged to your credit card if the employer approves your participation in their event.

    Mail-In Items

    Can’t attend the event but would like to mail in goodies? You can submit a registration to mail-in items (raffle prize, goodies/samples) for the employer to distribute at the event for you. If approved, non-members are charged a $5.00 fee and receive an email with the event contact name and mailing address. The messaging link is also activated so you may communicate directly with the employer.

    Coupon Codes: If you have been provided a coupon code to register for an event, you will need to fill in registration details, then proceed to the billing section. Put the coupon code on the box above the credit card information and submit your registration.

    Health Fair Membership

    FREE to register and participate in health fairs held within the membership contract period. Membership options are available on your profile under the Membership tab.

    Terms of Service

    By Submitting Your Registration, You Understand:

    Your registration for this event will be submitted directly to the employer for review. The employer will receive an email containing your registration details and a link to your profile. Please make sure your profile is fully updated before submitting your registration.

    You will be notified of the employer’s decision via email. You may also review the status of your registration by visiting your profile and selecting the Event Registrations tab in edit view.

    Employer-Provided Items (Requested)

    All employers are asked to provide approved vendors with the following:

    • Your profile link distributed to employees in the event announcement

    • Face-to-face interaction with employees

    • A table and chairs (see table size listed above)

    • Linen, electricity, and extra floor space (if needed)

    Please note: we cannot guarantee the employer will provide all items listed above or that the anticipated attendance will be accurate. If any of these items are not provided at the event, please take a moment to complete the event survey so we can follow up.
