The Miami HEAT is a professional basketball organization competing in the National Basketball Association and representing the vibrant and diverse South Florida community. Since beginning play in 1988, the organization has grown into one of professional sports’ most recognized franchises, building a legacy of championship success while creating memorable experiences for generations of fans.
Central to the organization is HEAT Culture—a commitment to excellence, accountability, teamwork, discipline, continuous improvement, and maintaining championship-level standards throughout every area of the organization. That philosophy extends far beyond the basketball court to the talented professionals working throughout business operations, entertainment, hospitality, community engagement, and the many functions that bring the HEAT experience to life.
The Miami HEAT also maintains a strong commitment to the South Florida community through initiatives supporting education, youth development, health and wellness, community service, sustainability, and charitable outreach. With a passion for excellence both on and off the court, the organization continues to use the power of sports to bring people together, strengthen its community, and create extraordinary moments for employees, fans, and families throughout South Florida.
